Second sponsored event for the Niche Investment Agents Society

On Thursday 16th November we are sponsoring and attending our second event for the Niche Investment Agents Society, to be held once again at The Lansdowne Club, off Berkeley Square.

The topic of this event will be the new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and the impact for property/surveying professionals, especially those undertaking any form of estate agency work.

Alex Ktorides of Gordon Dadds will be addressing the NIAS seminar to provide a legal insight into the new regulations, the practical solutions to follow them and the potential implications of not following them correctly.

Cox Mahon will be in attendance to answer any Professional Indemnity insurance related queries relating to these new AML regulations.

NIAS is an informal society, established in early 2015 to create a forum for discussion and networking amongst commercial property investment agents. The society comprises of approximately 300 niche agents who provide advice on commercial properties nationwide, work from a single office, are based in the West End of London and are classified as ‘niche’.

The NIAS Committee comprises representatives from Joiner Cummings, Lewis Ellis, Morgan Williams, Fineman Ross, Lewis & Partners, Clay Street, Jackson Criss and Griffiths Eccles.

We previously sponsored and attended a NIAS breakfast Q&A in June, which was a great success. We are very much looking forward to strengthening our relationships with NIAS and its members and catching up with some of our London-based clients, who are also members.
