Nina Petty – My Key Goals

Having recently joined Cox Mahon as Director of Operations, Nina’s key goal is to work collaboratively with the team to contribute towards the ambitious five year growth plans of the firm whilst managing the smooth running of all operational processes.

Nina Petty will be looking at all the differing aspects of the operational delivery of the business.  Getting under the skin of all systems and processes within client service, regulatory requirements and sales and marketing. Truly ensuring that every activity and process sets us up to serve our customers in the most valuable way. Nina has been impressed at the enormous amount of industry experience within the business. All client facing staff with 20 years plus experience and rightly positions the business as a leading broker in the niche professional indemnity and rural estates arenas.

Nina spent six years in lending and financial services before taking the leap to insurance services.  She started out with Hill House Hammond Business in 1999 as Deputy Commercial Manager where she introduced a variety of measures to improve branch performance.  Seen as transferable, these measures were implemented throughout the national branch network with Nina being promoted to Process Change Manager based out of the Hill House Hammond head office in Bristol.  Through further promotions, she led the compliance and communications functions, and supported the Hill House Hammond Business transition to Towergate on acquisition. Her insurance career continued with Giles Insurance Brokers followed by Gallagher in a variety of senior compliance and operational roles.

Nina recognises that culture and management of conduct risk are key to realising a business’s potential; the more innovative, agile, risk conscious and customer-centric a firm’s culture the more a firm can differentiate from the next. She is delighted to be welcomed by the team who already have a reputation for excellent client service and in-depth market knowledge, and where quality and reputation are key.

When she’s not at work, Nina’s perfect day is spent with her partner, Jonathan and her spoiled pug/terrier cross, Pixie, probably wandering about their local town of Bewdley; taking a trip on the Severn Valley Railway, or on the river in their canoe!
